ANNUAL DINNERS

 

Annual fund raising dinners for youth cricket have been held since 2005 with many distinguished cricketers as guests of honour. Detail, including photographs, can be found for most of the dinners in the sub-pages of this section. Traditionally the dinner honours the NatWest Cricket Osca winners, county players merit award winners and those earning county caps.

LIFETIME CRICKET PERFORMANCE AWARD

David Smith [right] became the first winner

of the new award to recognise a lifetime’s outstanding cricket performance. In a career of 50 years, David has taken over 4000 wickets with his off spin, captained the Club Cricket Conference on two overseas tours, played for Middlesex 2nd XI and Buckinghamshire, is the record wickettaker at Barnack CC and Cockfosters CC and has played over 70 times for Hunts Over 50s.
