Clubmark is a national standard for quality sports clubs, adopted by the ECB for cricket, and is an indication that a Club is playing in a safe friendly environment with strong child protection policies. Amongst other requirements Clubs need to have an approved Development Plan, adopt the ECB Safe Hands child protection policy, have a trained Welfare Officer, ensure key personnel have a cricket specific CRB disclosure and have public liability cover to a minimum of £5 million.
