BBC delivering quality first and local radio consultations
As you know, the BBC is currently running two consultations on their TV and radio content. Both consultations explicitly include reference to sport.
The consultation for TV can be found here and the radio consultation here. If you are concerned about the reduction of BBC spend on sports rights or concerned about the possibility of shared radio coverage for local sport, you might like to consider responding to the consultations.
We are currently discussing the matter with the BBC and our draft responses are attached, do let me know if you have any comments or requests. The deadline for the consultation is December 21.
