JONATHAN CARPENTER
Jon was a further member of the original Hunts EPP in 2008. He is a right handed batsman and off spinner from Eaton Socon CC, Jon’s early potential was identified back in 2009 when he was selected for the London and East Regional Representative side that won the u16 National Festival at Loughborough. Jon captained Hunts u17s for 3 years and in 2010 was the u17 leading run scorer in the country. Further, Jon attended Leicestershire CCC for 3 winters of training, however his regional coach, former England spin bowler Peter Such was instrumental in Jon developing his cricket further at Essex CCC. Jon secured an Essex Academy place in 2010 and has just started his second full year there. Jon has represented both Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire CCCs and is also former Hunts Youth Player of the Year.
